VOLUNTEER FOCUS: DAMILOLA OLOMOLEHIN OBADEYI (ATN-TEDN MISSIONARY TEAM)

“Your voice is not just for singing, it can also heal, lift, and lead others to Christ.”

Damilola Olomolehin Obadeyi is a woman whose life shines with melody, meaning, and mission.

With over three decades of experience as a church chorister, she is no stranger to the power of praise and worship. But what makes her truly remarkable is how she has chosen to evolve, not only as a gospel musician with albums to her name, but also as a woman committed to using her gifts to serve others beyond the stage.

A Life in Song, Rooted in Service

Damilola’s journey began in the choir stands of local churches, where her voice was first lifted in praise as a young girl. Year after year, she remained faithful, learning not just harmonies and hymns, but also humility and devotion.

For Damilola, music is more than melody, it’s a ministry. And that ministry has now found its way into the ATN/TEDN Missionary Outreach. She has become a vital part of the team, not only ministering in music at rural outreaches but also personally caring for the elderly, showing Christ through compassion, presence, and love in action.

Her versatility in music is evident in her contributions to the Nigerian gospel film industry, where she has lent her voice to movie soundtracks such as Ikeji Mi (produced by Wumi Toriola) and Sham (produced by Ola Anjorin). These projects reflect not only her musical depth but her desire to spread the message of hope through every possible medium.

Certified to Care

Damilola’s care for the elderly is more than a good deed, it’s a commitment backed by qualification. She holds a Diploma in Health and Social Care from the London Top Professional Centre, equipping her with the skills and sensitivity to tend to the unique needs of older adults. Additionally, she is a trained phlebotomist, having earned her certification from Grammartorial Education. This medical competence further underscores her readiness to serve with both heart and hands.

A Woman of Many Graces

Beyond the microphone, Damilola is also a seasoned entrepreneur. She is the founder of Errand Plug, a high-end personal shopping and concierge service that caters to high-net-worth individuals and celebrities alike. Known for her taste, discretion, and reliability, she brings excellence to every service she offers.

Her entrepreneurial portfolio doesn’t stop there, Damilola is actively involved in importing premium fabrics, and she also brings her creative eye to life through interior decoration services. Whether it’s transforming a home or sourcing unique luxury items, she brings elegance and dedication to every client’s dream.

Purpose, Not Performance

What sets Damilola apart is her ability to balance visibility with virtue. She’s not chasing applause, she’s following purpose. And in doing so, she has become an example of what it means to be gifted by God, grounded in service, and guided by love.

Through the ATN-TEDN missionary platform, she brings her sound and her soul to every mission field, every elderly person embraced, and every child inspired by her songs.
Her voice is her tool. Her heart is her anchor. And her service is her signature.
